The world is our office. Be it land, air or water, our staff operates from anywhere in the world as long as we have internet.
The current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic is grave and we wish all our clients to stay safe and healthy during this unprecedented lockdown period.
Our business model, strategy and applications have always been on a “Cloud” first approach. All our tools and applications (from internal applications, phones, project management tools, source codes, releases management, communication channels, platform, infrastructure) are all on the “Cloud”.
As you may know, we now have 4 offices (London, Sofia, Warsaw and Dublin). PremFina has always had a flexible work culture. Our staff often travel to our other offices and work remotely (including work from home). We also have a number of full time employees who have been remote home based workers for some years.
We have a formal business continuity policy which is issued to all staff and we provide them with regular updates. This policy is currently being enacted. Along with this, staff also have access to a working BCP/DR section on our Confluence (internal wiki) whereby all details are given including applications, strategy, RTO (Recovery Time Objective), RPO (Recovery Point Objective) etc.
The management team here at PremFina are continously monitoring the situation very closely.
A mock BCP drill was conducted on March 13th, 2020. All our employees were explicitly instructed to not go to any of our offices. The results were great. In fact, we had greater productivity, as staff spent less time commuting.
